Heco Autoline Filters, are compact, self-cleaning, automatic filters, manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel material and are available in the UK from
GEA Process Engineering Ltd. Their robust construction makes them ideal for cleaning practically all liquids, from highly viscous printers inks and glues, to cooling water, via greases, paints, fermantation liquors, antibiotic suspensions and many more.
The filtration principle is based on using a defined surface filter element, for example wedge-wire or laser-bored, with the dirt particles being retained on the inside surface and cleaned away by means of a scrapper, driven up and down by a pneumatic piston.
The Autoline filter has few moving parts, thus minimal maintenance is required, and its self-cleaning function isolates operators from coming into contact with hot or corrosive liquors and equally protects the liquid product from contamination from outside sources.
