21 APR 2012
Come and join representatives of GEA Process Engineering Ltd at Achema 2012. ACHEMA is the world forum of the process industry and the trend-setting technology summit for chemical engineering, environmental protection and biotechnology. The 30th ACHEMA will again be the leading international meeting point for decision-makers and experts from all related industries.
We look forward to meeting you on GEA's common stand no 44 in Hall 4. Some of the technologies on show include:
Swirl Fluidizer 6.3 mobile unit
When it comes to drying of pastes, filter cakes and highly viscous liquids, GEA Niro's SWIRL FLUIDIZER™ offers a cost-effective solution for obtaining a fine, homogeneous and non-agglomerated dry product – in one compact process step.
Mobile Minor standard
In the MOBILE MINOR™ small quantities of solutions, suspension and emulsions can be dried into powder samples for further evaluation. GEA Niro's MOBILE MINOR™ test results provide important information for selecting the design and technical specification of a given drying project.
PSD-4 Fluid Bed
Fluid bed in pharma industry execution.
Rotary Atomizer F-100
Atomization is the first and very important step of the spray drying process. Spray drying is a fast and efficient drying process and allows only a short time for evaporation to occur. A condition for successful spray drying is that the feed can adequately be atomized into a spray of droplets. This enables fast drying of the droplets as evaporation occurs from the large surface area generated by the atomizer. GEA Niro's Rotary Atomizer type F-100 will be on exhibition at Achema 2012.
In a world’s first, GEA Niro has vastly improved the reliability of the simulation technique used in the design and optimization of spray dryer performance, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), with a proprietary new method called DRYNETICS™ which puts the software on a more scientific footing.
GEA Tuchenhagen’ s range of hygienic liquid processing components such as a pigging station and tank cleaners will be on display aswell as:
With its VESTA® sterile valve series, GEA Tuchenhagen offers the first practical, cost-effective alternative to diaphragm valves. The full benefits of VESTA® sterile valves, both technical and economic, have yet to be fully realised as new applications become apparent.
VARIFLOW® Centrifugal Pumps
Specially developed impellers and excellent cleaning compatibility, this makes them gentle to the product, efficient and easy to maintain. These GEA Tuchenhagen centrifugal pumps are among the key components of a process plant and they are gaining importance when it is necessary to meet the ever-higher quality requirements placed on products and conveying processes.
A GEA Wiegand Jet Pump has many names, for example ejector, venturi, eductor, evacuator, injector or hogger, but what it does, is to take a fluid, be it Liquid, Vapour or Gas, at a pressure and turn that potential energy into useful work.
