GEA Wiegand Liquid Jet Gas Compressors, also called injectors, employ a liquid, very often water, to entrain a gas, which is intimately mixed with the motive stream. They are regularly used in the tater treatment industry to chlorinate or ozonate water streams or to aerate water or aqueous effluent. They are also employed to entrain gas from the head space of reactors on hydrogenation or nitrogenation duties.
