Atomization
Atomization is the first key element of the GEA Niro Spray Drying process. The liquid feed is broken down into droplets which are contacted with the drying air in a highly controlled manner due to the interaction of the atomizer and air disperser, which controls the flow pattern within the drying chamber.
Agglomeration & Granulation
The agglomeration systems supplied by GEA Niro are able to operate with a wide range of feed solids; powder, wet cake (paste) and liquid feeds can all be processed to the highest standards.
Brewhouse
Supplying complete brewhouses with state-of-the-art process control. Evaporation

Extraction
Coffee extractors and herbs & ingredient extractors are distinguished between two different processes. The continuous process: Introducing GEA Niro's counter-current extractor CONTEX™ and the batch process for which we have designed the FIC™.
Fluid Bed Drying

Freeze Drying

Jet Pump Technology
